Aviation Safety Asia (Hong Kong, China and Melbourne, Australia) have reported an ‘up-tick’ in clients moving forward their accreditation audits during the current COVID-19 hiatus surrounding aviation operations. Savvy operators are preparing for the ‘up-turn’ in the industry – which is starting to take-off as borders re-open and corporate/business jet operations increase.
ASA Auditors have reported great success with the remote audit process, commenting that it allows greater focus and diligence to review objective evidence in detail – without the usual audit on-site distractions and travel fatigue.
IBAC have remained flexible with the Remote Audit Policies released promptly in the first quarter of 2020, recently updating such to remove restrictions that initially existed surrounding accreditation level upgrade.
